How does A Cleaner Solution address cleaning issues involving the Flu?
A Cleaner Solution adheres to the following IJCSA (International Janitorial Cleaning Services Association) Recommendations for Cleaning Procedures During Flu Outbreak:
- All staff wash hands prior to placing on/removing gloves and wear gloves for all cleaning procedures.
- We wipe and disinfect* all door handles.
- We wipe and disinfect all phones.
- We wipe and disinfect all cabinet handles throughout the building.
- We wipe and disinfect all keypads and computer mouse devices (if approved).
- We wipe and disinfect levers (such as toilet flusher).
- We wipe and disinfect all light switches.
- We wipe and disinfect all public pressable buttons.
- We wipe and disinfect all desks (if cleared and approved) and workstation tables.
- Other individual requests whenever feasible.
These steps are the first line of defense against cold and flu that leads to poor productivity and employee sick days!
*The EPA has yet to certify a truly “green” disinfectant cleaner. We do, however, offer a safer disinfectant product which is considered “environmentally-friendlier”. This product is a quaternary disinfectant with a neutral ph level that effectively eliminates a broad spectrum of microorganisms.

What cleaning products are used?
A Cleaner Solution uses Clean by Peroxy, a hydrogen peroxide-based solution made by Spartan. Peroxy is a Green Seal certified all-purpose cleaner. It is diluted to the concentration required for each specific task. Peroxy leaves no toxic fumes and has a mild fresh scent. It is VOC-free (Volatile Organic Compound). |

What are VOCs?
VOCs are organic chemical compounds that can enter the atmosphere and contribute to indoor air pollution. They are an important health and environmental concern because in addition to being flammable, many VOC's are irritants and can be toxic when inhaled. |

Do you use a disinfectant?
The EPA has yet to certify a green disinfectant cleaner. We do however, offer a safer disinfectant product, Green Solutions Neutral Disinfectant. Do you offer carpet cleaning?
A Cleaner Solution provides carpet cleaning. We use a Green Seal certified hydrogen peroxide-based cleaning solution. Our CRI Green Label certified commercial carpet extractors ensure that carpets will dry in significantly less time than traditional machines. A higher rate of extraction also means less water will remain in the carpet, reducing the likelihood of mold. |

A Cleaner Solution offers complete floor care including sweeping, mopping, stripping and waxing as well as tile & grout cleaning. We use environmentally-friendly Green Seal certified floor products. |

How do holidays, special events and inclement weather affect scheduling?
A Cleaner Solution is flexible with scheduling around/during holidays and with prior notice can accommodate services for special events. We will make every effort to adhere to your regular cleaning service schedule during inclement weather. |
